Funding is available for five PhD studentships in the area of biodiversity and ecosystem service relationships. This scheme has now closed.
The network community will be invited to bid for funds to organise and take part in research clusters (working groups). Working groups typically consist of up to 20 participants who might meet over several days, once or twice per annum, to explore an issue in more detail than would be possible in a one-off workshop.
Each will have support for buy-out research assistant time and for preparation and follow-up work to enable substantive outputs.
Calls will be posted at the end of the second quarter of 2011.
